“Every Sometimes”

Welcome to Humans by Nature…

A space to explore the intricate and authentic truths of human behaviour, relationships, and culture.

As the sole creator, I embrace my curiosity about nature and life, sharing insights that inspire us to rediscover ourselves and reimagine how we approach life, relationships, and self-awareness. This platform is devoted to uncovering the links between health, psychology, evolutionary biology, and cultural change, approached with honesty, depth, and a grounded perspective.

A Note on My Writing…

I write here in my spare time, mostly as a way to process my thoughts, ideas and observations, integrate what I’ve learned, and make sense of my experiences in life. Between full-time work and study, I don’t always manage to turn my notes into polished articles, maybe I’ll learn to write shorter ones one day! For now, I publish “every sometimes”, and that feels about right.

"Self-absorption in all its forms kills empathy, let alone compassion. When we focus on ourselves, our world contracts as our problems and preoccupations loom large. But when we focus on others, our world expands. Our own problems drift to the periphery of the mind and so seem smaller, and we increase our capacity for connection - or compassionate action."
